The orchard was hand-planted by the family in the spring of 2012 and is farmed in an organic, sustainable manner. the trees have never been sprayed with pesticides nor insecticides. We simply provide water and sunshine; letting nature take its course and reward us with olives . The fruit is harvested by hand and immediately milled to create our artisanal, California-grown, natural extra virgin olive oil.

The name FRANTOIO 8/9 is derived from the orchard varietal planting pattern; a square of eight Frantoio trees surrounding the ninth, a Leccino pollenizer.
